Meet Deborah

Deborah Stewart, RN, is a seasoned infection preventionist with a strong foundation in critical care. A high-energy self-starter, she has consistently achieved professional excellence throughout her 35-year career in healthcare. Her experience includes 15 years at Baylor Medical Center, where she managed six departments and led a team of over 75 employees. Deborah has held key leadership roles, including Manager of Infection Prevention, Director of Emergency Management, and Director of Education. She currently serves as an Infection Preventionist at Texas Health Resources (THR).

With extensive experience in high-pressure, emergency environments, Deborah recognized the need for a quick, accessible reference tool for healthcare professionals and students alike. Driven by this insight, she created NowNotes—a portable, easy-to-use guide designed to support fast, informed decision-making in clinical settings.
